Halloween Cupcakes Recipe
Yields: 12 muffins
Preparation time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
- Food coloring (orange and black)
- Halloween decorations: chocolate chips, edible eyes, etc.
5 steps for the perfect Halloween cupcakes
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and place the muffin moulds on the tray. In a bowl, mix the flour (use a sieve to avoid lumps and ensure a more uniform mixture), sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, melted butter and vanilla essence, mixing well.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until you obtain a smooth, homogeneous dough. Divide the dough into two parts. In one, add orange food coloring and in the other, use approximately 5 drops of food coloring.
- Fill the molds with alternating spoonfuls of orange and black batter. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool on a rack. Decorate the cupcakes for Halloween.
