Anyone who has children knows that the birthday is the highlight of the year! So that the invitation for the children’s birthday cause big eyes, I thought about something very special: a DIY unicorn invitation that not only looks cute, but also tastes good!

This sweet unicorn invitation is guaranteed to be remembered

Unicorns, glitter and rainbow are the perfect combination for a magical start to the birthday party! The rainbow colors stand for diversity, joy and the colorful together. This is all that makes a good kindergarten or school time. Whether to say goodbye to the summer holidays, when switching to preschool or at the school leaving certificate: With this DIY idea you are guaranteed to be correct. And the best? The invitation is super easy to tinker and is perfect for tinkering with your child. In this article I will show you step by step how you can make this creative unicorn invitation for the children’s birthday yourself. Have fun tinkering!

Instructions

1

For this invitation, I used a lovingly designed unicorn template that is perfectly matched to the handicraft idea. You can easily print them out and get started directly. Of course you can also design your own unicorn yourself.

2

Now comes the most beautiful part: the colorful mane! Cut out several wool threads in pastel colors. Glue them along the mane and forehead with craft glue. Alternatively, with the other template you can also paint the hair with colored pencils or water colors.

3

Thread a piece of sugar chain sweetness through the face of the unicorn, like a bridle. This ensures a great 3D effect and is also a sweet surprise for the little guests.

4

Now stick the wooden handle (ice cream stick) on the back at the bottom. You can write the name of the invited child directly on it and so you can personalize any invitation entirely.

5

The invitation text comes to the back. When, where and from who is the invitation? Then the unicorn invitation is already finished!
