Guys, after Halloween is over, a switch always flips inside me and jumps to Christmas. Okay, I have to admit that this happened even before Halloween this year. I have already prepared a lot for Christmas so that I can offer you lots of creative ideas. So I had to go into Christmas mode.
Now I can officially start it here on the blog. First of all, let’s start harmlessly. The Christmas crumble has a few Christmas ingredients, but in my opinion it can easily be eaten at any other time. Crumble always works, don’t you think? Here is the recipe:
Ingredients
- 200 g mixed frozen berries
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 vanilla bean
- 50g flour
- 50g oat flakes
- 50 g spiced speculoos
- 50 g ground almonds
- 50g sugar
- 1 teaspoon spice
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 g Butter
- custard
Instructions
Defrost the berries and mix with the maple syrup and vanilla bean pulp.
Place the berries in a baking dish.
Preheat the oven to 150°C (fan oven). Knead the flour with the oat flakes, spiced speculoos, ground almonds, speculoos spice, sugar, salt and melted butter to form crumbles.
Spread over the berries and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
Finally, pour vanilla sauce over the portions and serve warm. Complete!
annotation
Instead of using vanilla sauce, vanilla ice cream goes very well with it.
Doesn’t that sound delicious? I can also imagine this dessert as a Christmas dessert. If you’re looking for something uncomplicated, this Christmas crumble is definitely the way to go!
See you then. Your Laura
