Conserving eggs is a great way to preserve this popular and healthy food!

Ingredients

  • 30 eggs (approximately)

  • 1 to 3 tablespoons of salt

  • 3 dry bay leaves

  • Vinegar for preparation

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Water until covering

Preparation mode

  • Place the eggs in a large, deep pan. Add water until cover and some vinegar.
  • Bring the pan to medium heat and after boiling water let the eggs cook for 10 minutes.
  • Discard the cooking water, let the eggs cool until warm and peel them.
  • Add 3 salt spoons to a large glass jar or 1 spoon in each pot if small.
  • Place the bay leaves, black pepper to taste, eggs and 3 fingers of vinegar per pot. Cover with almost boiling drinking water.
  • Turn the pots up down to the heat seal completely. Leave them with the lid down for at least 24 hours.
  • After 24 hours the eggs are ready for consumption (after conserving is opened preserve in the refrigerator).
