Make a popular Japanese “rice omelet” for breakfast.

Fast, filling and tasty breakfasts seem to be surprisingly rare, which is why many skip the meal in question altogether.

I have never come across the rice omelette that is so popular in Japan before.

You will need:

  • 1 bowl of cooked rice (porridge or sushi rice)
  • 1 raw egg
  • Soy sauce

Possible other side dishes: pepper, pickled ginger, chili sesame oil.
