In just over four weeks it will be that time again: we will light the first candle! That’s why I’m showing you my last minute DIY Advent wreath from last year today. I simply reused decorations and DIYs that I already had at home and the result was a modern, colorful Advent wreath with stick candles.

I think the colorful Advent wreath was now the third Advent wreath in a row that I designed without any fir greenery. This year I just put together a few nice things that I already had at home. Wooden plate as a base
I used a large, round decorative wooden plate as a base. I found mine on Kodi, you can find alternatives here:
Candles and candlesticks

The candlesticks are from the Ikea and Butlers range, you can find them (or alternatives) here:
Additional decoration, ceramic Christmas trees, balls, etc.
As decoration I used number cards, celestials, ceramic trees and tree balls. The Himmelis are available here as DIY instructions on our blog: Make your own geometric golden Himmelis. The balls and trees are each a few years old. I have linked alternatives here.
