Instructions
Melt 200 g of the raw soap according to the instructions on the packet. This usually works in the microwave. Then mix the soap with the cinnamon and scented oil and pour it into the mold with a spoon.
Before pouring the second part of the soap on, use the skewer to make a few scratches in the hardened soap so that it will bond better with the second layer later.
Then melt the remaining 50g in the same container so that a little of the cinnamon residue can be mixed in. This part of the soap is much lighter, however.
Then pour this soap over the hardened soap bar into the mold using a spoon.
The soap hardens very quickly, so press the dried orange slices onto the surface first.
Place in the fridge for about half an hour and then remove from the mold.
For decorative purposes, the soap can be wrapped several times with jute twine and tied up. Done!
Make your own soap as a gift idea
With these instructions you can easily make orange soap. As you can see, you don’t need many ingredients. You can also change the idea and dry lemon slices or blood orange slices. Or you can use flower petals, as I have already tried in this version.
