  • Donuts
  • Colorful chocolate lenses (e.g. Smarties, M & MS)
  • Forn or white chocolate
  • Cake-pop stems, Mikado sticks or drinking straws for the sensors
  • A sharp knife
  • A wooden board or plate for serving

Instructions

Carefully cut the donuts into half and swap the positions so that the cut side is on the outside. These become the wing of the butterfly.

Melt white chocolate in a water bath or use icing and thus stick both halves together.

In the middle you also glue with chocolate or icing 3 chocolate lenses as the “body” of the butterfly.

Place the sensor: Pick two Mikado sticks (or cake pop sticks) at the top between the wing halves. Decorate the ends with colorful balls by also sticking them with chocolate.
