If you are still looking for a gift idea for Easter, I recommend that you make this Easter jam yourself for your bunny breakfast or Easter brunch. The preparation is not only easy to make, but also really tasty!

Bunny Breakfast Easter Jam: The perfect gift from the kitchen

Making jam yourself is nothing unusual, even if it is always a good gift idea that almost everyone is happy about. But have you ever eaten Easter jam? Not me personally, a few years ago I made a strawberry-rhubarb jam in a strawberry jar, which was also very delicious. This Easter jam, on the other hand, contains completely different ingredients, which doesn’t make it any less delicious! I love them and am excited to give them as gifts this Easter!

It’s so easy to make this jam yourself:

Instructions

1

Wash, peel, quarter and, if necessary, core the apples and carrots. Grate both finely.

2

Put apples, carrots, orange juice, vanilla sugar, the zest and juice of a lemon and the preserving sugar into a pot.

3

Everything is mixed thoroughly and left to stand for 15 minutes. The measurements are then roughly pureed (depending on taste).

4

Then slowly bring the mixture to the boil and simmer for about three minutes. Do the gelling test.

5

Then immediately pour into sterilized jars while still hot.

6

Seal the jars immediately and let them cool completely.

7

Cover the lids of the Easter jam with a cut napkin and some jute twine.

8

Use a white marker to write the words “Easter Jam”, “Easter Jam” or “Bunny Breakfast” on a piece of kraft paper.

9

Stick the label on the jar and then give it as a gift.

Make your own jam as a gift idea

And you’re done with this really quick and easy kitchen gift idea. You can actually only partially say jam here, as it is made from two citrus fruits, among other things, but also apple and carrots. Strictly speaking, only these types of fruit fall under jam. The rest is jam. However, that doesn’t actually matter. The main thing is that it tastes good and hopefully you will like it at Easter brunch too!
