Welcome spring with a flower lantern
Flower lanterns with pressed flowers are a wonderful and easy way to welcome the spring we are all so eagerly waiting for. They not only look decorative, but also create a cozy atmosphere when lit. By pressing the flowers you preserve their natural beauty and can use them in your individual lantern creations. In this article you will find out which flowers are particularly suitable and how you can make enchanting flower lanterns yourself step by step. Whether as decoration for weddings, Easter or simply for the home – these lanterns with dried flowers are versatile and also make an excellent gift idea.
You can make a flower lantern so easily:
Instructions
Apply the craft glue to the glass, preferably gradually to avoid running. If the glue is too thick, you can dilute it with a little water.
Position the dried flowers on the glass and then carefully coat them with another layer of glue.
Work your way around the entire glass: first apply glue, then attach the flowers and finally secure with a final layer of glue.
Allow the glue to dry and harden completely.
Finally, wrap jute twine around the top of the jar and tie a decorative bow. Place a pillar candle in the glass – and your flower lantern is ready!
