Ingredients

3 sliced garlic cloves

1 tablespoon of salt (20g)

1 cup of sugar (200g)

1 cup of olive oil (240ml)

Preparation mode
- Sanitize the tomatoes and cut them in half. Remove the talinho from the tip and all the pulp of each tomato.
- In a container add sugar and salt. Mix until homogenizing.
- Place the tomatoes in a baking dish with the skin facing down and place a spoon of the sugar mixture with salt in the middle of each tomato.
- Bake in preheated oven at 180º ₢ for 1 hour to 1 hour and a half. Turn the tomatoes down and bake them for another 30 minutes.
- In sterile glass jars put a few pieces of tomatoes, some pieces of garlic, oregano to taste and olive oil until covering.
- Repeat the procedure alternating between the layers until all ingredients finish.
- Serve the dry tomato then or wait 2 days to make it tastier. Store closed in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
