Today I’m going to do my fifth DIY with dekiso and give this IKEA chest of drawers a new look. In the following step-by-step instructions, I will explain exactly what materials you need and how you can implement the IKEA hack at home. Instructions

Cut MDF board at the hardware store to the size of the drawer fronts so that you have three pieces of equal size.

Prepare several wall strips. Lay out the pattern the way you want to stick it later.

Use the ruler to mark the line of the protruding pieces and cut them to size with a saw.

Since the strips are self-adhesive, they can be glued directly to the panel.

Fill the holes at the ends of the strips with filler and sand again after drying.

Make the surface dust-free and paint it in the desired color. Also paint the body in the same color. Let everything dry and apply a second coat if necessary.

Pre-drill the holes for the handles and then screw the handles on from the back.

Glue the finished decorative front onto the drawer panel with assembly adhesive and secure it with clamps until everything has hardened. Additionally screw from the inside.
