This post contains advertising for EILLES KAFFEE Are you looking for a recipe for a homemade coffee scrub that will do your skin good in autumn? Then this article is just right for you!

Autumn is just around the corner, it is getting colder, the leaves are falling from the trees and we are snuggled up on the sofa, enjoying the bright colours with a hot cup of coffee. As beautiful as the weather is, the cold is also putting a strain on our skin. With a cup of EILLES COFFEE* we can relax and then use the coffee grounds to prepare a peeling for our skin. A beautifully packaged coffee peeling also makes a great little gift for a dear friend or as a Christmas present.

Coffee peeling as a homemade souvenir

Lisa from meinfeenstaub.com and I were inspired by the beautiful season. Together we chose the theme “Autumn Magic” for September for this year’s #DIYYear Challenge. And EILLES KAFFEE supported us with their RÖSTMEISTER Espresso and Caffè Crema varieties. For all of you who still have a few questions and are thinking “What kind of challenge?” – no problem. I have summarized the most important points of the challenge for you here:

#DIYYearChallenge 2023

Lisa and I are taking on a creative challenge once a month for a year – the #DIYYEARChallenge. On a given topic and with the support of a sponsor, we independently create a DIY project. We get creative with the partner’s materials and publish our results on our blogs and social media channels. Our followers can win great prizes from the sponsor by voting for their favorite under the Instagram post.

Monthly theme September: Autumn magic

The theme of “Autumn Magic” is perfect for the month of September, because the best way to enjoy autumn is with a cozy cup of coffee. You can then use the coffee grounds to easily prepare a coffee scrub. After the summer sun, you should do something good for your skin. I will now explain to you how you can easily make your own coffee scrub – something for yourself or as a gift. Be sure to check out how Lisa interpreted the theme.

What does a coffee scrub do?

Are coffee grounds good for facial skin? Absolutely, because the coffee peeling gently removes dead skin cells and stimulates cell renewal. The skin becomes smoother and looks fresher. The caffeine has a stimulating effect, promotes blood circulation, helps against dark circles under the eyes and ensures a rosy complexion. If you apply coffee peeling regularly, the appearance of your skin will improve significantly and coffee peeling can even prevent cellulite.

EILLES COFFEE ROASTMASTER Espresso

For espresso, the coffee beans are roasted dark. This means that unwanted acids disappear almost completely. The espresso tastes strong and intense and has a fine-pored, nut-brown crema. You can find further information here.

EILLES COFFEE ROASTMASTER Caffè Crema

For Caffè Crema, the coffee beans are roasted a little lighter. This results in a light and balanced taste and the coffee still develops a wonderful aroma. Pure or in combination with milk, Caffè Crema is the perfect treat. You can find further information here.*
