This post contains advertising for Pretty Orange With this cash gift card you can make a special person happy on different occasions.

Cash gifts are a popular and practical way to spread joy, whether it is for birthdays, weddings or other festive occasions. However, instead of simply handing over an envelope with money, a homemade cash gift card can show your personal touch and creativity. Together with Pretty Orange*, the site for personalizable stationery and products, I found the perfect card that was missing for my cash gift! This idea is very easy to implement, even for people who aren’t very good at crafting. It’s also a great alternative to folded banknotes, because you can still give a banknote that’s personal and lovingly designed.

Greeting card with money butterfly

To give you ideas for the next occasion, Lisa from meinfeenstaub.com and I have come up with the theme “Little Greetings” for the #DIYYearChallenge in July. This will ensure that you are perfectly prepared for the next wedding, birthday or other special occasion of a loved one. And who could be better suited to this theme than our partner Pretty Orange? They have a huge selection of high-quality cards and stationery that you can design yourself for many different occasions. For anyone who still has a few questions: What kind of challenge? I’ll explain it again here.

#DIYYearChallenge 2024

Lisa and I are taking on a creative challenge once a month for a year – the #DIYYEARChallenge. On a given topic and with the support of a sponsor, we independently create a DIY project. We get creative with the sponsor’s materials and publish our results on our blogs and social media channels. Our followers can win great prizes from the sponsor by voting for their favorite under the Instagram post.

Monthly theme July: Little greeting

For me, it is always a special pleasure to give something I have made myself as a gift. And since the wedding season is in full swing right now, there are many opportunities for giving money as a gift. My idea is perfect for anyone who doesn’t consider themselves to be the greatest crafters, but still wants to give a special gift. The money butterfly is very easy to make, doesn’t require any great folding skills, and you can design the card yourself really easily using Pretty Orange. This way you will have a beautiful result and the person receiving the gift will be happy! Now you will find out step by step how I implemented my DIY. Be sure to take a look at how Lisa interpreted the theme.
