Whether for a birthday, for school or communion and Co. – at some point, children are also happy about a little extra pocket money to spend. And you quickly lose the overview of which LEGO sets are already in the children’s room. Yesterday it was still ninjago, today it has to be Lego technology – then it is nice if the birthday child can choose something for itself. Of course, this packaging is also suitable for tickets or vouchers.
For this I made a nice DIY gift packaging for a money gift. The idea is implemented super quickly and you don’t need a plotter. If you have one, you can save yourself a step. Otherwise you just need a cutter knife.
For money gifts in the picture frame, I generally like to use the deep frames of Ikea. For example, I have already shown you the wedding gift idea in the picture frame. The series that are extra deep varies from time to time, at the moment I use the Rödalm*frame. I always have one or two frames for fast money gifts at home. A tip if you don’t want to go to Ikea: In the IKEA Family, the package delivery now only costs 2.90 euros. With the picture frame I also have the money gift implemented with sweets in the picture frame.

Feel free to browse in our category with DIY money gifts if you are looking for more ideas. I always find this packaging with pompom monogram, in which you can also hide other little things for children.
Now the idea in the picture frame with LEGO comes to print and save for you.

Pack money gift for children in the picture frame
Simple and quick DIY idea for a money gift in the picture frame for children – with Lego and name. Perfect for vouchers or tickets for birthday, communion and Co.
Crowd: 1 Gift
Material
- Picture frame Rödalm *
- Lego figures
- Craft box
- Scissors
- Cuttermesser
- Cutting mat Alternatively wooden board
- Painter Krepp Oder Masking Tape
- double -sided adhesive tape
Instructions
-
Cut the craft box to the right size for the picture frame. To do this, you can use the back wall as a template.
-
Print the desired name as a lettering. I used Brayden in size 190 here. Depending on the length of the name and the desired font, you may have to experiment a little. Alternatively, you can draw the font yourself. Place the lettering at the desired point on the craft box and fix it with a painter clock.
-
Now place the box on a cut -resistant surface and cut out all letters with a cutter knife.
-
Stick the desired banknot on the back of the box with a little painter tape or masking tape.
-
Now arrange everything in the picture frame: first insert the disc, then the spacer. Now place the lego figures. Fix them with a little double -sided adhesive tape. Then attach the box with the banknot and the back wall.
Notes
Alternative: You can also print thinner paper and cut out with a small precise scissors.
Glad to pin your picture to find the idea again and again!
