
I have almost completely stopped using rice and switched to barley. I especially like Fazer’s barley (so this is not a paid advertisement). Nutritional values, taste, composition – everything is right. The price now is a bit more expensive than rice, but you can’t get everything.
Barley-strawberry salad (2 servings)
- 1.5 dl Fazer barley
- 5 dl of water
- salt
Cook according to the instructions and leave to marinate with a mixture of 2.5 tablespoons of oil, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of soy, garlic, ginger and 1 tablespoon of water.
- strawberries
- 1 suippopaprika
- 1 cucumber
- spring onions
- mozzarella
- basil
- pepper and balsamic syrup on top
Chop, grate and tear and mix with the barley.
