Chocolate cake with colorful sprinkles – ingredients – you need that
The amount is enough for a springform pan with a diameter of approx. 26 cm
For the chocolate base
- 200 grams of flour
- 150 grams sugar (I used raw cane sugar)
- 2 tablespoons baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 Owner
- 150 milliliters of sunflower oil
- 150 milliliters of milk
For the topping
- About 150 grams of white chocolate
- Smarties
- Colorful sprinkles
Tip for sugar: You can also use normal table sugar or replace part of the amount with brown sugar.

That’s how it’s done – recipe for super juicy chocolate cake with colorful sprinkles
The recipe comes together really quickly. To do this, clamp a sheet of baking paper in the bottom of your mold and preheat the oven to 180 degrees (top and bottom heat). Then it’s time for the dough. All you have to do is mix all the ingredients together. This can also be done without a mixer with a fork – so a great recipe to let the kids bake with you.
Then fill the dough into the springform pan and put it in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Then you let it cool down completely. If a small mound has formed in the middle during baking, you can simply cut it off.
I then simply spread the cake with melted white chocolate and spread Smarties and a colorful crumble mix on top.
