How to fold banknotes as a gift?

Folding banknotes is a nice way to make a gift of money more personal and unique. With just one banknote you can create creative shapes and figures. Today I’ll show you this magical butterfly shape. This simple but impressive folding technique will certainly attract everyone’s attention and bring joy to the recipient.

Here are the instructions for folding banknotes:

Ingredients

  • 1 banknote (e.g. 10, 20, 50 notes)

Fold the bill to the side so that it is cut in half.

Now fold it up again so that it is halved again. Then fold it back down again.

Turn the bill closed side up and fold the corners toward the center to form a point.

Fold one tip to the side so that the bottom part is folded. Repeat on the other side so that it looks like picture 5.

Fold the bottom two pieces over towards the middle. Then open each side again, fold only the upper part to the inside and close the page again. It should now look like picture 6.

Fold the inner corners outwards.

Now fold the bottom part over so that it looks like the last picture.

The butterfly is ready from just one note.
