Last year the trend emerged to decorate a bottle with flowers. The more practical thing: You can give away a wine bottle or champagne bottle together with a bouquet of flowers in one. Today I’ll show you how it works!

Specially packaged: bottle with flowers

Have you already come across the flower bottle trend? The wine bottle or champagne bottle acts as the stem of the bouquet and like magic, many flowers grow from its neck. Maybe you’ve already asked yourself how this actually works? The trick behind it is pretty simple and it’s called floral foam. This allows you to place the flowers on top of the bottle and package them in an original way.

It’s so easy to decorate a bottle with flowers:

Instructions

1

First, cut your floral foam to size. It should be at least 15cm wide. The wider, the heavier the gift will be and the more flowers will be needed.

2

Now stick the floral foam on the neck of your wine bottle so that the floral foam is pushed back in this area and an imprint is created.

3

Remove the floral foam from the bottle and place it in a bowl of water. Do not press the floral foam down, but wait until it has completely absorbed itself.

4

Now take the floral foam out of the bowl and put it back on the bottle.

5

Now it’s time to plug in! If you also want to use Ferrero Rocher, put it on the toothpick first and then into your floral foam.

6

Then the roses or other flowers are cut short and then put into the foam. The floral foam will provide you with water afterwards.

7

Gaps can be easily filled with small flowers such as gypsophila.

8

Once the flowers are in place, the bottle can now be wrapped with transparent wrapping paper and tied with a bow. However, you can also omit this step.

9

And this is how you can pack a bottle with flowers.
